To Dr Macadam enclosing Second Report dated 30 September 1860-from 7 to 16 September.

Sir,

On the 10 of Sep. I had the honour to forward to you by post from Swan Hill my First Report, together with five sketches, and a bottle containing 3 snakes. As I have stated already we made Swan Hill on the 6th of September.

I have the honour to be,
Sir,
Your obedient servant,
Ludwig Becker.

Bush-Camp at Gobanna,
about 36 miles East from the
Darling. Sep. 30. 1860.

PS. Enclosed are six drawings, some of them awaiting explanation which shall be given in my next report. The shortness of my time at present prevented me from sending this time a larger account of my observations, which however will be remedied at Minindee, so God will.
L B.
