Swan Hill, July 11, 1861. Sir, I have the honour to report that I expect to leave this place on Saturday morning. Mr Welsh, I am happy to say, has rapidly improved since my last, and Dr Wheeler, I believe, considers him recovered. With respect to horses, I have to state that I have purchased twelve up to the present time, and believe that I shall have no difficulty in completing a number which will enable me to move the party on. Annexed I furnish a list of the horses now purchased. Various articles which I have been unable to procure at the store, have been kindly supplied by Mr Foster; and, on leaving, I shall forward a list of such things as I have given him a receipt for, to the committee. I have the honour to remain, Sir, To the Hon, John Macadam, M.D., | ||
