Swan Hill, Sir I have the honour to report for your consideration that Mr Welch, surveyor to the Exploring Contingent, is suffering from congestion of the retina, caused by a flash of light whilst taking an observation. I am administering the usual remedies, and am happy to state that I am of opinion that he will be enabled to resume his duties in a week or two. I have the honour to be, sir, To the Hon Dr Macadam, Hon Sec Exploring Committee. | ||
